B1 visa holders will be able in a few days to visit India’s largest city, New Delhi, as well as the rest of the country, following a decision to allow the same to be extended to foreign tourists.

Under the new rules, citizens of India who are eligible to apply for visas will have to register with the Immigration Department and pay a fee of Rs. 1,000,000 to avail the visa.

Under current rules, foreign visitors are only allowed to visit the country for 30 days a year.

Under the new visa rules, they will be allowed to travel in a number of dates including for six months.
